A Modo Mio Cucina Italiana | Our Story

Naples to Mesa, Done Our Way

Wood-fired, handmade, and uncompromising. From the first espresso of the morning to the last amaro of the night, this is Italian life lived fully, right here in East Mesa.
What A Modo Mio Means

What A Modo Mio Means

The name is Italian for "my way" — a declaration, not a tagline. We built this kitchen on the belief that Neapolitan cooking deserves to be done right, with no shortcuts and no apologies.
The Wood-Fired Kitchen

The Wood-Fired Kitchen

Our black-and-gold domed oven burns continuously, turning out pizze with the blistered, chewy cornicione that only live fire can produce. Pasta is made fresh in-house, from the pappardelle alla bolognese to the delicate ravioli di mare.
The Pasticceria

The Pasticceria

Our pastry chefs arrive before dawn — croissants al pistacchio, sfogliatelle, lemon cream babà, and eighteen flavors of house-made gelato ready before the first espresso pulls.

One Roof, Many Flavors

A Modo Mio opens at 8am as a neighborhood café and closes late as a wine bar — pasticceria, gelateria, trattoria, and deli, all at once. This is how Italians actually live.
